Share your expertise,
raise your profile,
support Essex students
What is it?
The 100 in 100 programme is an Essex-wide initiative funded by the Essex Growth Agency. It aims to provide young people with the opportunity to experience the world of work.
We’re inviting Essex businesses of all sizes to share their time to provide these experiences.
How do I help?
There are many ways to contribute that will fit around your time and your business needs.
As well as giving you the opportunity to develop a talent pipeline, the programme offers a chance to raise the profile of your business with students and the wider community.
Direct or indirect involvement
- Providing information, case studies or sector insights that help students understand what your industry does and what roles exist within it
- Give students studying photography, media, or digital the chance to work on real projects - such as creating marketing photos, short videos, or business content.
Traditional engagement options
- Hosting a work experience placement
- Hosting a workplace visit for the afternoon, a short placement, or job shadowing
- Offering a site tour or delivering a careers talk
- Attending one of our careers events
- Hosting an online talk or webinar about your industry
What next?
At this stage, we are simply asking for a ‘pledge of commitment’ — an indication of the type of opportunity that you would be willing to offer over the coming months.
This can be as small, creative, or occasional as you like. We will work with you to match your offer to the right school, teacher or student group across the county.
If you would like more information or would find it helpful to discuss the opportunity informally, with no commitment, please fill in the form to register your interest, and we will respond on the next working day.
